Cooking 101 Course Outline Spring 2010 Each class is taught in two parts with a 10 minute break. You will learn all the basics to preparing a great home cooked meal in one night. Classes are taught for 3 hours on Monday or Fridays from 6-9 or Saturdays from 10 am – 1pm. (limited spaces available) Dates open upon availability, Call to request dates - Price per class minimum of 4 students is $150.00. Additional students added at $35.00 each up to 6. Class 1: Knife Skills and Kitchen safety: Cutting, boning, Chopping and Filets. Back to Basics: Roasting a chicken with potatoes, Sautéing Chicken cutlets and Starting a stock. Class 2: Making gravies and sauces: The use of stocks in sauces, stews, chowders and soups. Cleaning and preparing Veggies: Making a great side dish or vegetable entre. Book online today -
